 Who is Galileo & why is he important? Cause he discover the moon’s mountains and craters

Was Galileo ever punished for his ideas?


In 1633, the Inquisition of the Roman Catholic Church forced Galileo Galilei, one of the founders of modern science, to recant his theory that the Earth moves around the Sun. Under threat of torture, Galileo – seen facing his inquisitors – recanted.

ginger bear

 Aim: To look at how yeast is used in food


Equipment: 


Spoon 


Kettle


Bowl


Beaker


Cloth sieve


Funnel


Plastic (PET) bottle and cap


bug


200ml warm water

2tsp active dried yeast

2 tsp suger

2 tsp ground ginger

Ginger beer ( for 1 Litre)

3/4 cup suger

1/2 tsp cream of tartar

1L cold water

Juice of 1/2 lemon 

1 sp ginger beer bug.

Method

1. in a large bowl put the sugar and cream of tartar then add the warm water

2. stir to dissolve the sugar before adding the cold water

3. add the ginger beer bug to the large bowl of cold water 

4. Stir well and then put into your clean bottle

5. Label your bottle with your group names

6. place all the bottles in the class container

7. Store in a cool dark place for two weeks before drinking

Milk plastic

Equipment: 1. A microwave/stove top 2. Milk 3. bowl 4. spoon 5. paper towel Method: 1. heat 1 cup of milk in the microwave 2. add 4 teaspoons of vinegar and stir it slowly 3. stir it for 1 minute and slowly the milk will begin to curdle/seperate 4. pour the mixture into a strainer and leave it for 1 minute 5. Remove the curds and place them on a paper towl 6. squeeze as much liquid as you can out the curds 7. squish all the curds into a ball

Ps1 came in most grey and it came with a small little ps1 controller attached to the ps1  


PS2 

The ps2 were exactly the same as ps1 except it is black and you still need a cord attached to the controller to play the sony playstation

PS3 

Ps3’s Don’t have a cord attached to them this time. There was two versions of them one was an old look of it. The console was all right, it was better.

The ps4 was better than the old one’s. You could play and buy more ps4 games online and it was designed better it has a blue light when you turn it on.

Sir Ernest Rutherford

 Sir Ernest Rutherford 


Discovered alpha and beta rays, set forth the laws of radioactive decay, and identified alpha particles as helium nuclei. Most importantly, he postulated the nuclear structure of the atom.


He was a scientist and wanted to know more about how things worked.
